Thanks Liz. Yes we've been pre-occupied this last week with our poorly cat who had to be admitted to a veterinary hospital over the Easter weekend and then taken to our local vets on a daily basis for blood tests after that. He was very poorly - they think he was somehow poisoned. Thankfully he now seems to have turned the corner and is eating us out of house & home. Having been quarantined all week he seems to now be getting up to his old naughty tricks.

That is one amazing face! Do you mean deliberately poisoned or accidentally ate something? Either way, I'm glad he's on the mend. I dread to think what your vet bills were like.

What a handsome feline! I'm glad he's on the mend. I certainly hope he wasn't deliberately poisoned, that's an awful thought.

The vet suggested either contact with Lillies (even just the pollen) or ingestion of Ethylene Glycol (such as vehicle anti-freeze). As for vet bills - the two night stay in the hospital was £2,400 and then we've been paying daily for regular consultations, blood tests & medicines. We haven't got insurance either!

Narcissus canaliculatus - such a long (and frankly quite amusing) name which belies it's diminutive stature ..... even smaller than Minnow. My first time with this variety but I'll definitely be planting more this year.

Tulip porn?  You don't mind the stigma?

A bit late... catching up... beautiful all, but especially the Viburnum with the dappled light.

Love the tulip porn!
