Welcome to the GW Photos forum.

The group started with the closure of the Gardeners' World forum. A few ex-members who had enjoyed sharing their photos of their gardens and of nature thought it might be nice to keep that going in a new group.

This is a forum for gardeners who love photographs, or for photographers who love plants, especially garden plants. It is open to anyone who shares the same interest of looking at the beauty of their flowers and other garden plants; of weeds and wildflowers; of trees and grasses; of fungi and seed heads; and of all the little bugs and beasts that live there. It is not intended to be a photography group for the very keen only, it is for anyone whatever your skill level, whatever your camera or smartphone. The main object is the beauty of gardens and nature.

It would be lovely if you would like to add comments, but you don't have to.

There are a few rules:

1. Be polite. Anyone who is deliberately and/or persistently unpleasant will be banned;
2. Post your own shots only
3. For legal reason, please do not post shots of people unless you have their explicit permission to do so.

Above all, enjoy the photographs and the beauty of nature.
