Thanks Liz. 1/125 f8 ISO400.
Tulips are my wife's department. I show no interest at all until I spot one that looks like that

Indeed - more, and more, and more... please!
I think I spotted some flowers in my garden! I just need the wind to stop so I can get the camera to work.

That last Montana image is really lovely Liz. The sort of romantic feel that I never seem to capture.
I'm in Wales birding at the moment so I'm only popping in here occasionally. I've brought my best camera just in case but not sure I'll get to use it much, if at all.

I hope it's a good trip - I hope your weather has improved as well and that you spot what you're looking for, and even maybe something unexpected!
Fingers crossed with the weather warming up there will be more flowers around soon. Very slim pickings in the garden at the moment.

these are the last of my tulips (label lost). A bit too vermillion for me but a good shot of colour at the front of the house. Lots of the tulips this year have held for a solid month - each bloom - because of the cool weather. I know tulips are supposed to love full sun but a hot spring would have mean half the bloom time, I reckon, going on previous years. Everything has been in stasis.

You mean there is a benefit to this long cool spell? I suppose every cloud's lining has to have some bit of silver.
A bit too vermillion for me too but when spring is still to get going a hit of colour can lift the spirits.
